The film is commendable and worth the watch. It's quite sobering to witness the conditions under which impoverished children lived during that era, as well as the formidable challenges women encountered in a patriarchal society. The film's notable omission, however, is the lack of any prayer scenes, despite the well-known fact that the protagonist's life was steeped in prayer and divine strength and guidance. It seems the producers shied away from depicting the religious impetus behind the story, choosing instead to portray Cabrini simply as an ambitious woman rather than a Catholic nun driven by faith and religious commitment.
